A cosy corner for creativity, motherhood & handmade inspiration
Welcome to the page about Love & Stitch Kits — a cosy space where creativity, handmade baby gifts, and gentle motherhood come together. I’m Georgia, mum, maker, and the hands behind everything you see here. This blog is where I share inspiration, craft ideas, and honest stories from life as a creative mum.
While I also run a handmade baby gift shop on Etsy, this space is different.
Here, the focus is on:
- creative inspiration
- behind-the-scenes making
- helpful guides for choosing baby gifts
- crochet & crafting tips
- gentle motherhood moments
- ideas for celebrating the early stages of a new baby’s life
I created this blog because I wanted a space where I could write more deeply — beyond the short space Etsy allows — and share the heart behind the handmade.
How It All Started

When I became a mum, handmade gifts took on a new meaning for me.
I saw how something small, soft and thoughtfully made could brighten a tired mum’s day or become a treasured keepsake.
That love for meaningful gifting eventually led me to open my Etsy shop.
But as my shop grew, I also felt the need for a home of my own — a place where I could slow down and share everything that inspires the creations I make:
- the process
- the stories
- the ideas
- the moments of joy
- the stitches in between
This blog is that home.
